Hello there. We're back from our Christmas-y vaca and have tons of pictures to share, so you'll have to bear with us for the next couple of posts. It's picture overload central up in here.
Casey's dad very graciously drove us to Stonehenge the day after Christmas. It's about a 90 minute drive, very beautiful through the sheepy green hills of England. I may have fallen asleep on the way (and maybe on the way back, too) and missed some of that beautiful greenness, but we won't mention that.
Stonehenge is one of those things you think about visiting when you find out you're going to London, so I was super pumped when we got there. In my mind, it was a lot bigger than it really is. We're guessing the stones are only about 10ish feet tall, and you can only walk through them on special occasions. It was still surreal being there, and I'm so glad we did it.
Here are our 897 photos from our 30 minutes at Stonehenge.
It was cold and rainy, exactly what you'd expect of England in December, but the green grass was really beautiful against the gloomy sky.
Casey and his dad, our lovely host for the week :)
Jerry and I sprint-walking around the stones so we could get back in the car. Brr!
Jumping attempt #1.
Jumping attempt #2.
We suck.
Solo jump... my best herkie.
Doesn't it look like Casey's face was pasted onto a picture of Stonehenge?
And Stonehenge from the back.
Shout out to Jerry for driving us all the way there, especially when he'd already seen it!
Stonehenge = awesome.
