The Onion of the Middle East

I've been duped.  When a friend shared the article about the Gold Class Lane, I totally believed it, as did everyone else I know in Dubai.  But don't fret; the Middle East just got a little bit cooler because The Pan-Arabia Enquirer is an Onion-esque news magazine aimed at poking fun of the excess of this region.  I think the best part about this is that we all believed this story... because it's not too far off of where they are now.

  1. As ridiculous as it sounded I believed it too. When people have way too much money to play with they are capable of being incedibly snobish.

  2. Jessi & Casey, What steps did you take to make your big move abroad? My boyfriend and I would love to live abroad but are still trying to figure out the career aspect of it. We are both young professionals with Finance and Industrial Engineering backgrounds and are wondering how young couples like yourself find comparable jobs abroad that allow you to continue to travel often in your free time. :-)
